Lesson 1

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

In the name of God, the Lord of Mercy, the Giver of Mercy

রহমান, রহীম আল্লাহ্‌র নামে

ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ لَا رَيۡبَۛ فِيهِۛ هُدࣰ ى لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ

This is the Scripture in which there is no doubt, containing guidance for those who are mindful of God

২. এটা সে কিতাব যাতে কোনো সন্দেহ নেই, মুত্তাকীদের জন্য হেদায়েত

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ عَلَىٰ هُدࣰ ى مِّن رَّبِّهِمۡۖ وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡمُفۡلِحُونَ

Such people are following their Lord’s guidance and it is they who will prosper

তারাই তাদের রবের নির্দেশিত হিদায়াতের উপর রয়েছে এবং তারাই সফলকাম।

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ لَا تُفۡسِدُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ مُصۡلِحُونَ

When it is said to them, ‘Do not cause corruption in the land,’ they say, ‘We are only putting things right,’

আর যখন তাদেরকে বলা হয়, ‘তোমরা যমীনে ফাসাদ সৃষ্টি করো না’, তারা বলে, ‘আমরা তো কেবল সংশোধনকারী’।

وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَقُولُ ءَامَنَّا بِٱللَّهِ وَبِٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡأٓخِرِ وَمَا هُم بِمُؤۡمِنِينَ

Some people say, ‘We believe in God and the Last Day,’ when really they do not believe

আর মানুষের মধ্যে এমন লোকও রয়েছে যারা বলে, ‘আমরা আল্লাহ্‌ ও শেষ দিবসে ঈমান এনেছি’, অথচ তারা মুমিন নয়।
